Ancillaries

To ensure continuity of the gas barrier, PAGeotechnical offers a number of ancillary products for use where penetrations of membranes, and junctions, occur. Installations should be in accordance with guidance contained in BRE414 and PAGeotechnical ancillary products have been designed to enable installers to meet these requirements.

In a typical installation, PAG recommends that the PAG 25 venting layer is first installed and connected to collector pipes. A strip of membrane is then installed around the perimeter. Finally, the gas barrier is installed and joined to the perimeter membrane. Penetrations and junctions are then sealed with preformed ‘Top Hat’ units and adhesive membrane sections.
